Shredded chicken tostadas are such a great dinner for the young, the young at heart, and everybody in between. They are pretty customizable as there are numerous options for toppin’ ‘em up. I’m sharing with you my favorite way to build tostadas using my Mexican shredded chicken as the main attraction.
For my shredded chicken tostadas, I use Don Pablo brand tostada chips. And my tostadas always have generous helpings of refried beans, chicken, cheese, and loads of other tasty toppings.
I either use Rico brand refried beans, or prepare my own. However, if you like canned beans, use them. They are certainly convenient!

Spread warm refried beans on tostada chip. Add warm shredded chicken on top. Sprinkle one part of your shredded cheese all over chicken. Then add on shredded lettuce, diced tomato, black olives, and other part shredded cheese. Top off with sour cream. Serve immediately.

- Black Olives (1/8 cup)
- Sour Cream (1 dollop)
